Some details on these pages
  • For each chapter, this page provides access to the latest update of the text and software, and to a list of update changes since the last approved version, the IERS Conventions (2010). For all files subject to changes, previous versions are kept on the ftp site and identified by adding a date of validity to the filename (see an example in Chapter 5). In addition a complete list of updates is available here.
  • For each chapter of the Conventions, the page provides access to the Latex source file and, if applicable, the figures in encapsulated postscript format. To typeset, other tex and style files are necessary, they may be found here. The printable version of each chapter is also provided in pdf format. When applicable, subroutines or other auxiliary files are also included.
  • For all updates, the changes with respect to IERS Conventions (2010) are outlined with a line in the external margin and the date of the update. New sections are identified with a thicker line in the external margin next to their title. Note: To typeset the tex file, you need tn-settings.tex.
