IERS Conventions Center Home
The Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) and the US Naval Observatory (USNO) have jointly operated the Conventions Center of the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS) since January 1, 2001.
The main product of the Center is the IERS Conventions, which
describes reference systems realized by the IERS and the models and
procedures used for this purpose. The Conventions are in the form of a
book published at intervals of a few years, the latest of which is the
IERS Conventions (2010) that has been published as Technical Note 36.
